The league is drunk right now and I'm too busy for this **** today...Nets are smart enough to know that Irving/Harden/Durant isn’t going to work. I still think Simmons gets swapped.
I think Sabonis is the best player in that trade, but the Kings have a lot to do to support Barnes and Sabonis.Imagine being a player and knowing you are going to the Kings. Depressing stuff.

Oh its job preservation. I honestly think they never get a locked in Zion so if NOLA management and ownership were smart they'd look at what the trade market is and stop trying to build around him to make him happy. To be devil's advocate, it's easy to stay in "asset accumulation-patience mode" when you have no stake. The reason they are in such a pressured position to win now is because Zion himself might demand out soon. People get so excited about OKC and their treasure chest of assets, but that could very well be meaningless to the important decisions makes. The owners, current players, and FO members trying to keep their jobs don't give a damn about being patient if the goal is to win now. We can call those guys idiots, but if they were in patience mode Zion is gone and so are their jobs.
The Pelican's have only had two playoff appearances in the last decade. They're in a good position to outperform their last decade (damning with faint praise I know) with this roster they put together.

Dont like Sabonis at all really, but I think it's a good move for the Kings.
Haliburton really good, but dont think he is ever going to be the player who gets the Kings to the playoffs.
Sabonis/Fox/Barnes is a solid trio.
Maybe they can go out and get Jerami Grant now?
Kings dumb AF to give up Hali. You'd take him over Fox on any daySabonis is awesome but I cannot believe the Kings traded Haliburton.
