Trade for Greivis Vasquez if the Pelicans draft Trey Burke

I don't think the Jazz have a chance to match that in terms of needs for the Clippers. Bledsoe is not going to happen. We just don't have what the Clippers want.

Apart from the rumor at the trade deadline, I don't think the Jazz FO are in love with Bledsoe... not enough to trade for him anyway. I have a feeling they believe they can get someone from this draft who has just as much upside.

Because 26 year old, 6 foot 6 point guards who averages 14/9 are just all over the NBA, right?

That was kinda my point.
He is 26 so he is not likely to make huge improvements.... he only averages 14/9 and is not a top point guard in the nba..... he is slow and not very athletic.

Basically a decent starting point guard similar to a jose calderon, george hill, mario chalmers, goran dragic, etc etc.

I want a point guard with potential/upside to be in the tony parker, westbrook, rondo, paul, rose, d-will, steph curry etc etc group

I guess what I'm saying is that vasqyez is a good player and a slight upgrade to mo.

But that is not what I want

I want to either get someone that can put us over the top and make us contenders.... or don't get anyone at all and try to get a star point guard next year.

The last thing I want the jazz to do is a pick up a pg like vasquez who will probably make us just good enough to stay right in the middle of the pack

I'm cool with a Trey Burke caliber guy, what I really want is a superstar swingman/SF next year in the draft. [/nosarcasm]

Then sign Kobe to a 1 year 20 million dollar deal to train him.[/sarcasm]
