Do you think the Jazz could pull off a trade for Rondo? I think if we got him we could get significantly better with him Favors and Hayward being our top guys. What all would we have to trade for him?

Burke, Kanter, and our 2015 draft pick? Would you do that?

Just want a little discussion here.

I'd also want an extension built into any deal........... which makes one incredibly unlikely.
 
Not gonna happen...

We have the assets, but he wouldn't resign here. I think he can only extend his deal 2 years, so it would be in his best interest to wait. It would be short sighted for us to give up long-term assets to be a little better this year.
 
I just want a proven star player. I think they could really help the growth of our young guys.

any other players we might be able to trade for that are in that kind of all-star state?
 
Horford would be the one. If he is healthy he's a beast on both sides of the ball.

It'd be expensive... If we did something like that I wish we a little further along in our development.

Just a guess, but Kanter, Burke, 2015 1st, and 2017 GSW pick?

He's also only got this year and next left on his deal. I wouldn't give up next year's pick personally.

Always been a Rondo fan. Burke + Kanter for Rondo. Throw Ian Clark or a pick to the deal if necessary. I don't know if Boston would do it or even if the trade works cause I suck at trades, but I'd do this.

Rondo + Exum is an awesome PG rotation. Bring Neto over also and we are set.

It would be my last resort, sending Hood. I'd offer them all possible combinations of Kanter, Burke, Ian Clark, Evans, Tomic, Neto and multiple picks before thinking about Hood.

Besides my love for Hood, it's also about Rondo. As much as I'm a big fan of him like you, when we go for Rondo, we are trading for a star player with a massive ego and not so balanced personality. I know many star players are the same but Rondo can be a real pain in the *** when he decides to animate the Diva in him. Plus he sucks behind the three point line which Hood can be very very good at.
 
Jazz would have to give up so much for Rondo, it would have to guarantee Jazz would be legit contenders.
 
I am ready to give Kanter, Burke, 2015 Jazz pick and 2017 GSW pick. We need Rondo.
