Trade for Rondo?

I personally know around 50 ex-UK players. I have about 20 cell numbers and text (regularly) without about 7 of those. Rondo Is is either #1 or #1a of those I speak to the most/closest with. Would LOVE to have him in the locker room and on the floor.

He loves Boston, the town.. the fans.. but hates the lack of commitment from his teammates that was once there. Cancer? Maybe. He demands A LOT from his team AND coaching staff. Anyone that knows him knows he's a gem of a guy, but very intense and a winner... and is not going to mesh well in a locker room of floaters. He may not be a good fit here. It depends on the coach (I think this is good) and the commitment of the players (not 100% certain).

Burke is okay.. no real upside.
Exum is a project with almost endless upside.

Not a fan of Rondo. Don't think we could keep him. I'd make the trade in the OP only if he signed an extension. I'm really down on Kanter right now and Burke is looking more and more like a future backup PG to me.

Very good question. They probably wouldn't fit well, the celtics would probably try to get Exum too.

Why do we want rondo and why would he want us?
He's getting older and will want to player for a contender, not a rebuilding project. We need time and a few more players, not another vet.

Teams that could use a center are Atlanta, Lakers, Miami, Knicks, and Minnesota.
1) HAWKS: Be crazy if Utah traded Kanter for Millsap. I'd also be intrigued by Payne (who could be a great stretch 4).
2) LAKERS: Would the Lakers trade an injured Randle for Kanter? Randle with Favors would be great next season.
3) MIAMI: Doesn't have the assets that make sense.
4) KNICKS: Shumpert's name always seems to be on the block. Definitely brings defense, but Knicks would also need to add Jason Smith for salary and maybe a pick.
5) MINNESOTA: Probably best trade partner. They have a lot of young bodies that could be combined for Kanter. EK should be able to play PF alongside Pekovic. But, you could also do Kanter for Bennett straight up. Bennett is still on a rookie deal so no extension for 3 years and could grow into a stretch 4. I would do that deal, especially if Utah also got GRIII or a 2nd rounder.
