Trade Hayward - Seriously

After this season, he can opt out after 2 more years. Due to DL rolling the dice and losing.

I love Hayward..a lot, but from a business view I doubt he stays. I assume he will want to win. He is approaching prime of his career and
I see the constant losing wearing on him. Other teams NBA announcers (via LP) seem to be in Love with him.

We will not be playoff ready by then, not even close.

NBA teams need a top tier PG and we are not even close.

Not sure who yet, but I would target a PG.

I realize he has some type of trade penalty in his contract, but get it done.

By all means, let's panic and make moves out of desperation. That usually works out. We very well may end up trading Gordo at some point, but there's absolutely no reason to do it now. As for Utah not being ready for playoffs in several years, I think you're wrong. We should get another nice pick in the next draft, and after that Utah could package some of our young players with a pick/s for an established vet or two. Things could come together a lot quicker than you might think. Now is the time for patience.

As constructed we don't need a pg Hayward Alec and Ingles can handle that, plus I thought Exum was our future at pg?

Also explain how you know we won't make the playoffs over the next three years? How do you see the future?

Let's at least see how Burks and Exum develop, see who we sighn as free agents, and draft over the next couple years, plus guys like Hayward and Favors are still getting better.

While we're at it, better deal Favors. Got him pretty cheap so he has great trade value. Let's get lottery picks for as many players as we can. And 2nd's for the rest.
I don't think that's ever been done before.

Oh wait, Philadelphia beat us to that strategy.

Seriously, another top-10 pick and 1-2 FA's will solve a ton of our problems. We're not as far away from playoff contention as some may think.

Maybe I am just frustrated.

For some reason, this season sucks to watch. Probably because I thought we would do better than with Corbin.

I genuinely thought 30-2 wins, last years Suns......

Nothing wrong with being frustrated, but it does help to keep your expectations realistic. Whenever player improvement is the biggest factor in team advancement, you're going to be disappointed more often than not. Luckily for us, Utah is in a pretty good spot to make a significant trade sometime in the next year. This team is actually in a pretty good spot for a rebuilding team. Now it's just a matter of stockpiling assets until the right opportunity comes along.

Charlotte is losing again, lance is stinking it up. They need to do something. Jazz need to do anything. If MJ called DOL with that deal I bet DOL says no.

Yep. No reason at all.

We love absolutes.

We love no forward looking.

Let us stand pat and sit in mediocrity forever.

Damn any one who says trade Hayward for team building concept.

DL has this guis no worries.

Good idea. I say we trade him for a bunch of picks. Then we trade the rest of the team for more picks. Then we trade the picks for other picks. If we play our cards right, we'll end up with:

PG: Pick - Pick
SG: Pick - Pick
SF: Pick - Pick
PF: Pick - Pick
C: Pick - Pick

I'd be really excited to see what that team can do. And if one of the players doesn't pan out, we can easily trade him for a pick.

Too bad you did not cry like this when the Jazz gave Millsap away for free.

Flip flopper.

Back then you were screaming for losing.

Why do not these rebuild fans have patience? Why are they crying for playoffs 20 games into the first year of rebuild?

Uh, that's the reason you have to be patient when rebuilding. You'd probably be happy to give big contracts Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva. I kinda think that sucks, tbh.

But the players we pick with those picks might only stay for like 7 to 10 years, so what's the point?

Blaming no moves on bad contracts MJ handed out lol.

Lol. You sound like lotto addicts. Keep buying tickets and eventually God will call your number. Just be patient.
