Trade Idea with Lakers

The Laker's ownership doesn't listen to Kobe as much as they used too. I think they have an eye to the future now, as seen by trading Fisher and Odom away.

? Can you see Bell & Tinsley in their future plans?

Both these players expire a year earlier than Blake, so...... future.

I think we'd all hate Blake by 2013-14 as much as we now hate Raja. Just a hunch. He also cuts into our summer of love'13 by $4 million.

Also one of Jeffery32's reasoning for Lakers getting Bell is that Kobe had interest in him.

So if they're not listening to Kobe - why trade for Bell?! He's not getting any younger (decling defense) and his shot has been off...

I just don't see it.

this is the kind of lateral/cosmetic deal that KOC has an aversion for. Blake isn't much (if any) better than a healthy Watson. He has a better outside shot, but they are fairly comparable in terms of their impact on the game. The fact that Blake wouldn't make KOC's job any easier come 2013 makes this deal unlikely, IMO

If I am correct Raja is not eligible to be sent to the DLeague. The best option we have on him is trade him.

As for Watson, I like the guy for the reasons you listed above. I am just saying that if I am making a trade and one of the back up PGs has to be included for it to go thru I would include Watson over Tinsley.

I thought that they changed the rules and vets can now go to the D league. Odom was going to go this year. Im not sure but I thought that was the case

Oh no, by all means, don't take my comment to mean I want realistic trade ideas like this to be the norm. Christ no! I fully expect people that can't balance their own checkbook to keep throwing out trades that are in no way financially feasible, completely one sided and just plain retarded.

Carry on, Jazzfanz.

What the **** is a checkbook? I just swipe the card and keep it moving.

That said, it's still not the worst idea mentioned here.

I was trolling on Laker forums and their fans absolutely hate Blake with a passion (like how everyone hates Jefferson). Every few times I do see him play, he is absolutely terrible. Sessions immediately replaced him after Brown got a huge poop storm from fans after giving Blake too many minutes. Blake is like Watson, neither one of them have an offensive game themselves.

Nice troll job sir.

Thats what I have been saying. You can tell a players worth by what the fans think. I never liked Steve Blake. So its no surprise to me that they dont like him. Fans are definitley a good source of knowledge about players. Gm's should use them as a resource.

So like whats been talked about before, we need to hide our Jefferson hate here. Just in case.

Screw Steve Blake, and screw this trade.
