Trade idea

Let's trade a couple of these many 2nd rounders we have for Terrence Jones.

Houston might want to unload Terrence Jones to make room for Bosh and Parsons.
(Bosh should take less to keep Tjones imo)

I like Tjones. He's an interesting player.

Yay or Nay ?

Yay. He can play inside and out. Not a true stretch 4 but shot 30% from three on 101 shots, so that is a number that could go up and he has shown huge improvement from year 1 to year 2. If he is actually on the block, I could see a number of teams going after him.

Pair him with Favors. Kanter will thrive off the bench. Another young athletic big.

Absolutely.. but does Houston do it?? I say not enough being offered.

Look at what TJones did last year when he got minutes and he's very young and gets paid less than $2MM.

Terrence Jones is legit. They would want more than a few 2nd rounders though.

He would be a great piece for Houston to add to sweeten a salary dump (Lin).

I'd happily take both Lin and Jones and send back a couple of 2nd round picks and an non guaranteed contract to Houston for that kind of value. Unfortunately, a deal like that probably means they get enough cap space to sign Bosh quickly and match Parsons.

They reportedly already have a deal in place with Philadelphia to dump Lin. It's dependent, of course, on Bosh signing with them. If LBJ doesn't make a decision by Sunday, it will be interesting. Bosh has to sign before they match the offer for Parsons.
