Thats a reasonable take, move the timeline to the future and swing on a guy like Ace or someone else. Just need to get the right value for Lauri.

Yes at this point may we will capitalize on him as a unique talent and get as much in return as possible. We'll need more picks to compensate for lower quality pick position.

It’s probably time to bet against the Warriors like we should’ve done last year (except now he makes a zillion time more money and just had a bad year).

Agreed this team now has zero chance to compete during Lauri's timeline.

I'd be fine if they basically start from scratch by drafting #3 and #5. I imagine they would probably need to take back the PG contract in such a deal?

With Dallas at #1 and the Spurs at #2 either one of those teams could easily beat out the Sixers for Giannis. I don't know Embiid's injury status but if he comes back somewhat healthy the Sixers could easily be a contender again in the EC with him, Lauri, Maxey, McCain, and Grimes.
