Trade - Marquis Teague

I'd rather have Hinrich on a rental for a season than Teague. Veteran leadership, solid shooting, can play either guard spot, and strong defender.

The fact that good posters want to sign (let alone trade assets for) a legit point guard makes me want to roll my Cakar in honey and glass shards, then pound a wild boar's face for three days while The Titanic is on replay in HD.

I can't speak for the others but I want Teague because I think his value will double given more playing time, and far exceed that of a 2nd round pick we initially used. More of an investment and return than trying to circumvent the tank.

sounds like you have thought about doing that a lot...

If the opportunity presented itself for a CP3 or Westbrook or Rose then of course we would have to jump all over that. But without it being someone of that level then we stick with what we have, since we really don't even know what that is yet. It is ludicrous to look at some mid-level PG who is trade fodder or just got cut as a better option than our recently acquired #9 pick who has yet to play a regular-season NBA game.

We are talking about this trade, because the Jazz have been interested in Teague. Now we are trying to figure out why they would want him.
