Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Now tell me how well he played in the 4th quarters of close games, you know, the thing choking entails.
Sure. Had he not dominated the first 3 quarters there wouldn't need any moment for choking. Like when we were down double digits in G7 against denver then he carried us back into the game, only for his backcourt partner to shoot 2-13 and bury us.

Robert Williams, Looney and others like them are good options, but they are still only playing about 20mpg in these important games.

Small ball is still the way to go. I would be prioritizing John Collins if he's available. He could develop into a good small ball center for a long, long time.

And yes, getting an 8 second violation in the final minutes of a close game is much much much worse than missing a game winning 3 pointer. It's throwing away a possession by being a space cadet, something Mitchell does constantly on defense.

How dare you bring up our most disappointing playoff performer when Cy is trying to slander Donovan Mitchell.

I mean Jokic got gentleman swept out of the first round. Embiid collapsed in the second. And we are talking about the two best players in the league this season. Even the best player can't carry his team to the W alone. Mitchell surely has his flaws but between him and the supporting cast we got around him, we all know who deserve the bigger blame.

Looney played 28 minutes per game last series...Dray got 30. Robert Williams would play more if healthy... he was basically limping through 15 minutes the other night. Al Horford is effective and is a unicorn... but he also needs Brown, Tatum, Smart, and Grant to help him anchor that defense.

John plays like almost no minutes at the 5... he played center for like 5 minutes a night in the Philly series...Capela played 33 minutes per game that series. The small guys supplement the anchors... unless you have AD or Horford... and even those guys need someone to play 25+ minutes to carry that burden. John is a guy that can play 12 minutes at center maybe... but needs other wings around that will do the heavy lifting. Collins at the 5 with Donovan would set some records for points allowed if you ran that way for 20+ minutes a night.

If you put John in the Celtics starting lineup he'd be the worst defender of the group.
