Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Long term Mikal Bridges is the perfect option to have on this roster. If we can nail this off season via draft and free agency then he is a player I would to get with once we are ready to contend.
And he is who I think of when I think of the ideal 3 and D guy that would slot in there... and that is why you try and see if Ochai can become some version of that (does not have Bridges length so it would be a poor man's version). I'm also more interested in seeing what it looks like with Ochai than I am seeing what it looks like if you throw KO in the starting lineup.

Here is our schedule leading up to the trade deadline:

1/20 Brooklyn
1/23 Charlotte
1/25 @ Portland
1/28 Dallas
2/1 Toronto
2/3 Atlanta
2/6 Dallas
2/8 Minnesota

Looking at the standings, we should be in at least 6th place by the trade deadline, and if we beat Dallas we could be in 5th, with an outside chance of 4th.

It might be difficult for the front office to be sellers when we're a top 6 team in the west.

We going 6-2 over that stretch... I am confident in DA though... he has been able to get Ryan to do the hard things. So while it likely is a factor I think it won't prevent us from doing something good long term if it is available.

I think I'd be more concerned that we do really well, DA does a devastating trade that gets us assets but guts the vets, and Lauri is pissed off about it and mentions it during his pending FA.

And I know you know this, but Agbaji has the tools to be a good defender, and I think he will be at some point, but isn't currently a good defender.

Yes, I think Ainge makes it much less likely that we overreact to the results of an easy part of our schedule.

100% but I do think the shooting and acrobatic offensive plays he adds is enough to see what it could look like. I also think he is better than Beasley on defense... he also needs reps. Doesn't mean he gets starter minutes per se... but 15 minutes with the starting lineup a night would be nice to see.

Wait wait wait wait just a freaking minute!!!!?

You can buy arby’s sauce at the store?? Mind blown!!!!

Yep, and Horsey Sauce. Also, you can get the Ranch and spicy Ketchup from Whataburger too!

The downside is that you have to go to Walmart. . .

But, man you can make some legit homemade sandwiches with those tools. Also, homemade Curly fries!

All I need is a bottle of Hot Mustard from McDonalds and I think I would be set.

Fortunately, he is good enough on offense that you can let him learn with game minutes. Shooting 38% from 3 as a rookie is pretty amazing. Donovan shot 34% and Kyle Korver shot 39%.
Agree with giving him minutes and that his offense had looked good lately, but I don't quite understand the 3pt % comparison. He's hasn't attempted enough to really say anything about yet.
