Siakam trade bout to go down? Is it the first chip to fall?

If Raptors want a firesale they need to start early to gaslight armsrace and FOMO among buyers.
 
If I were the Raptors and was preparing to do a fire sale, the three deals I'd do:

1. Raptors receive: Russell Westbrook, Max Christie, 2027 FRP, 2029 FRP | Lakers receive: FVV, GTJ
2. Raptors receive: Dillon Brooks, Ziare Williams, 2024 FRP, 2026 FRP | Grizzles receive: OG Anunoby
3. Raptors receive: Ben Simmons, Nic Claxton, 2023 FRR (via PHI), 2027 FRP (via PHI), 2029 FRP (via DAL) | Nets receive: Siakam, Boucher

Collect some interesting young players in Williams / Christie, expiring deals in Brooks/Westbrook, starting center in Claxton, reclamation project in Simmons. Go full tank mode for Vic while picking up additional firsts in 2023, 2024, 2026, 2027 (2), and 2029 (2).

Nah, they are looking for a Mitchell AND Gobert level package combined for him. Why would they take anything less? Him asking for a trade threw the entire NBA into a tizzy. It'll be right at the deadline, I tell you what.
