Losing Vando (a guy with no discernible ball skills), Beasley (shooting a meh .359 from the perimeter this season on a preposterous 9 attempts per game) and Conley (one of the main culprits for our terrible point-of-attack defense) likely makes us better, not worse.

There is no scenario that has been mentioned where trading Conley makes us better.

I think that's all a bluff. No one really wants D'Lo all that much other than the Lakers. Maybe a Miami deal could happen w/ a Lowry swap.

Think Minnesota is just trying to save some face right here. They know they need to move D'Lo and get something out of him while not throwing the current season away. Casual fans are going to be mad when they look at Conley's stats vs DLo's stats so Minny is scared to go through with it unless they can get another win in teh deal.

I am still there so fire away. I dont believe for one second that at 55 games in we decide to tank nor did we start off with that as the goal. Ainge doesnt care if we get worse if it helps us in the long run but if the goal was tanking he would have headed down that path long ago. In fact, if the goal was or is tanking he has done the worst GM job in recent memory.

Lets see how this trade goes through then we can have a full discussion. Tanking is not the only goal but you bet your *** improving our draft pick is part of this evaluation.

Boy... I am not sure I'd try and bluff to DA. You may be right and they might just try and sneak in and get a swap back or something. I think we could do a deal directly with the Lakers and cut them out if we needed to.

Boy... I am not sure I'd try and bluff to DA. You may be right and they might just try and sneak in and get a swap back or something. I think we could do a deal directly with the Lakers and cut them out if we needed to.

Maybe for 1 pick, but IDK if Utah does that deal then. Russell might be necessary to get both picks, but to Minny's credit they might know this and are asking for something to make the deal work.

Unless the extend him now I think its a mistake... again they don't have max space. And to get to max space they end up filling out the roster with minimums.

Why don’t they have max space? Looks like only guaranteed money next year is James, Davis, and someone names Max Christie.
