Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Nooo...that type of plan is a disaster!!!!!
Nah... I already talked myself into Quickley becoming as good or better than Donovan by season's end. Playing pick and roll with Rudy unlocks his full potential. I am only kind of kidding.

New York implodes when Thibs takes out Donovan's legs because he missed another rotation. We end up in the playoffs and with the number 1 pick.

I think every reporter who has talked about the situation whether nationally or locally indicates that "we are on the clock" and some go as far as to say "Donovan is not long for Utah". Now you can just say that is lies, rumors, and other BS... but it has been consistent and not something reporters like McMahon are just going to spout off for no reason. They are getting it directly from sources they trust... not trusting some rumor mill. Donovan hasn't come out and said "I'm 10 toes down" like Dame has. I don't think these are meaningless guesses... going back to Hayward there were rumors he was out a year before his final year. He and Jazz management met and denied them. Where there is smoke there is fire... and we've had all teh smoke.
I just haven't heard nothing but noise. It is like the Rudy vs DM conflict which was blown way out of proportion in my opinion. I do agree that the Jazz have to make sure that they don't have another Hayward situation so if the management has any doubts then they need to pull the trigger and trade him.

All you have to do is watch the Celtics and how they have many good defenders who give great effort. The Jazz lack perimeter defenders and this is why Rudy can be taken out during the playoffs. Jazz need guys who have the desire and ability to get up on guys and make getting to the basket difficult so Rudy can protect the basket.

If you control their draft the next 5 years you will get some high picks. Donovan ain't a culture changer and he bails on them for a winner at some point.

Quickley does a poor man's Donovan impression. We do just fine with improved defense... the vibes are immaculate.

Lmao, what offense? He has no post moves. He sets screens that’s his offense.
Exactly, that’s all you need your center to do is set screens and rim roll and create extra possessions with offensive rebounds and put backs, creating opportunities for open shots within the offense. It’s called basketball and those things Rudy does better then any other center in the league. Why do you think Mitchell is so potent on that end of the court?

Yes, Gobert is the sole reason Mitchell is so dominant on the offensive end. How could I forget?

Which is weird because you said Mitchell can’t be the primary scorer on a great team. Which one is it you idiot?

I’m less interested in Quickley plus Toppin than I am getting Barrett.

Barrett is going to be really ****ing good.

I'm saying if Rudy could score on his own and and hit fts we could have won. He was unable to take advantage with his mismatches because he can't back down.

There's some truth to this. If Rudy could have punished mismatches and scored efficiently in bunches, it would have forced Dallas to go away from the small-ball, spread lineup that enabled them to kill our perimeter defenders on isolations and drives. I don't know if this would be enough to turn the series, as the Jazz were pretty lackadaisical overall in a few critical moments.
