Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Probably didn’t think they could get it done… may not have been willing to pay the price in draft capital. No idea but if they don’t come out of all this player movement with a star they will be slightly better next year but still disappointing
They are hoping Utah gets tired of his BS and just deals him eventually

It's a standoff:

How long can NYK stand being mediocre and risk Don being dealt elsewhere vs how long can Utah stand Donovan being a baby on the Jazz and hurting the culture.

Brooklyn is the perfect team to use as leverage too… right in they backyard.

He was never worth it. He was a terrible fit with Mitchell from a size standpoint and age didn't fit with the timeliness to compete. It turned a 7yr window into a 2 yr window while making us asset poor and tiny in the backcourt.
what bothered me the most about acquiring Conley was that the Jazz gave up 2 first for him. Jazz was doing Memphis a favor by taking on his contract. Jazz should have received at least one first round pick. The second issue was the Jazz overpaid when they re-signed him after his injuries. We bided against ourselves.

I say the prophesy of Wind Horse is not yet fulfilled… not only was he prophesying concerning the great and dreadful rebuild… but he foretold the place where Donovan will be traded. Remember Don is besties with Royce… and Brian was saying why would we trade Royce to Brooklyn… very strange… very strange. While everyone views the prophesy as being fulfilled he was trying to tell us where the final star will land.

Wind Horse lol

Well according to Tony, DM wasn't the only baby on the team. He mentioned that Rudy was acting weird behind the scenes too. I am sure DM is not as bad as you say and Rudy is not as innocent as you belief. Every team has drama now and then. However, I can admit that I really don't know what happened behind the scene, but in reality, I don't care about the drama. All I care about is winning and both guys helped the Jazz to win, but it is painfully obvious that this Jazz team had hit their ceiling. Changes are needed.

, and the appeal of Ayton is somewhat diminished if Don is traded anyways.

.
I disagree. For me its very appealing to go into a rebuild with a 23 year old former #1 pick who has already looked amazing, has a great skillset, still has potential, has already been in the playoffs multiple times, etc.
