If we pull a Don deal off I would check in on Sexton and see if they are interested in JC or Bogey… assuming price is right he’s a good buy low candidate. Won’t hurt the tank if we tear it down to studs.

I also think between Mike/Bogey/JC/Bev/Vandy and our ability to use cap space that there are like 4-5 other firsts we could go get over the next 6 months if we wanted. Maybe not unprotected firsts but firsts nonetheless.

Bogey could easily net a 1st, Clarkson could easily net a 1st, hell Beasley and Beverley could both net us a 1st. We let Mike be tank commander and he gets traded for a 1st or two at the deadline.

We haven’t even touched on taking on salary with a 1st attached either. Presti is going to be jealous with the war chest Ainge puts together using his model.

There is truth in this. Aside from disgruntled fans, SLC is a pretty chill media market, all things considered. NYC would not let Donovan alone for five minutes. He could fart in his own bathroom and a media personality would call him out for ****ing on the Nets or Knicks, dishonoring his father's legacy as a Mets exec, and appeal to him to seek help for his apparent addictions to Taco Bell.

Jake Fisher says we aren’t in on Ayton. If we were doing a retool and build around Donovan I would think he’d be under strong consideration. My guess is Ayton to Toronto for Trent and a first or something along those lines.
