Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I don't want more 6'4" 6'5" guys. We have plenty of experience with these guys. I want more length and athleticism like what we saw the the Raptors. I want to bundle Vando with someone else who can lift this team now and in the future. No band aid short sighted deals like we did with KO,

I realize KO was when we didn't know a lot about this team and we had to get some front court options. But we know what we got now.

I just don't see Vando having much of a ceiling above what we see today.

And I get that but it’s a bit of wishful thinking that we can put Vando and some stuff together and find the thing everyone in the league wants. So sometimes you settle for a 6’5” reasonable facsimile of what that player can do and search for that big athletic wing in the draft.

Hart is far from perfect… but the price might be right and those other things we really want may not be available atm.

And I’d just keep Vando if he didn’t suck on defense. He tries hard and will make some hustle plays but he just isn’t the guy he’s portrayed to be. I think we sell high on Beasley and Vando if we can but if it’s only meh returns then I guess we roll forward.

Unfortunately big athletic wings are at such a premium, it'll cost an arm and a leg to acquire anyone notable.

The only concern I have with Vando is that he only has a year left on a cheap deal and then he has to get paid but he's not a great fit with Kessler as a non-shooter.

Dame has said in the past that Vando is one of the guys he'd like to play with.

I'd be interested in a pick and/or their young players like Keon Johnson, Nassir Little, Greg Brown, and John Butler Jr.

My guess is it would be for Nassir Little and one or two second round picks.

I don't know what it would take to get Pascal Siakam but I think he would be a tremendous pickup with this group.

Siakam + Markaanen + Kessler
Clarkson + Conley

Thats a fun starting lineup! Clarkson and Conley feel like the weakest links in that group.
