Then Ainge focuses on drafting the Thompson twins at 4th and 6th, thus making the Thompson twins and Kessler the main core for the Jazz. I've seen fan trades like this recently. Thoughts?

He isn't wrong. The tacit newer premium on picks and limitations above the 2nd apron are going to make things very interesting.

If that Westbrook trade positions the Jazz to take advantage of a team that’s desperate this off-season, then it could yield an even better result than the Lakers ‘27 protected pick. There’s a lot of flexibility for the Jazz to grab a really great asset to use in a future move for a star from somewhere.

Agreed, that's what it would have to be, although getting a guaranteed 3rd pick may necessitate getting slightly fewer picks back. Two more frps, a swap and Simons may be hard to say no to. It depends on who is there at 3. I'm not sure I want to trade skilled height for Scoot. He is good, but he is also short, and I would prefer to watch a team with a pass first pg that hits shots within the flow (surprising for a Jazz fan, right? ).
