Good loss overall. Favors got experience putting the team on his back and Burke seems to have actually played at least a decent game. We lost, but that is good for are overall draft position.

Starting lineup of Gobert, Favors, Millsap, Exum and Burke. I'm glad Snyder is willing to mix it up a bit, but who expected them to still outplay the Blazers and be within one shot at the end of this game?

The only thing that irritates me is that the Jazz sucked it up in the 4th and let the Blazers score enough to get over 90.

Gotta give this team credit for nearly winning two games without a SG.

Fine game by the team, Trey did a pretty solid job, Favors looked like he was gonna dominate but foul-trouble took him a bit out of it, Exum was too timid and I think he let that effect his defense on Lilliard a bit. Refs were not good and our foul-shooting was also not very impressive once again.

I don't understand when a ref calls the foul when he's on the weak side and can't even see the ball! It's so terrible!!!!

I really hope that a statement is made tomorrow on this game. Something about the refs, the weak T that was given to Booker and nothing at all to LMA.

It's a design play to kick to a shooter in the corner or on the weak side wing, because without penetration the 3p line is heavily guarded. We've been trying this one game after game when we need a 3 at the end and it has never worked. I am not sure if it's just bad execution or teams are too good at guarding it and fouling right away... I would have liked to see Ingles being prepared to take a shot once he feels a contact, thus giving himself a chance at a 3p play, but it was clear that his mind was 100% on passing to the perimeter and didn't even look at the basket. The thing is... they might not call a foul if he shoots. In end of game situations refs hardly ever go for the and-1 play... let alone those specific refs.
