What's new

Travis Wilson

Never watched Trevor Wilson play football, but he threw 16 TDs to 16 INTS. Not too good.

Also threw 6 INT in a 7 point loss.

3 INTs in a 3 point loss.

A lot of Utah's losses seem to be in large part because of him.

Also loss every road game that wasn't BYU.

He has been boom or bust for sure, but he has the talent to put the team in a position to win against good teams, and also actually be the reason we win. I dont know if any other QB we have on our roster can actually be the reason we win any games.

Utah is the MSU of the Pac-12.

We gettin dat Rose Bowl trophy next year. Gonna look nice next to the Fiesta Bowl and Sugar Bowl trophies.

First of all, he's only cleared for Spring Ball due to no contact. If we were approaching fall camp and the start of the season, Wilson is not cleared for any type of contact and wouldn't figure into the QB equation. I'm more interested in his prognosis later in the summer.

I think Wilson being back for spring is a good thing for the QB competition. I think it's always good to push the young guys with a vet who has some games under his belt. However, when you factor in Wilson's injury, turnover ratio, and record versus conference opponents, I don't expect Utah to go "All In" with Wilson even if he is given the green light in the fall.

Whit will continue to give the media lip service and say if Travis is healthy, he is the starter, but considering the QB problems they've endured in the past, I see no concievable way that you won't see Utah giving Connor Manning or Brandon Cox a decent amount of snaps prior to conference play. It's going to be a battle for Travis. #1 On Dave Christiansen's to-do list for a QB is not turning the ball over. If Whit lets Christiansen have absolute rule over all offensive personnel calls (he damn well better), I could see Christiansen going with a younger guy who he feels won't turn the ball over as much, regardless of experience.
Solid post, especially when you consider it came from a Ute fan. We all know how retarded you guys are.

Next we gonna have Charlotte Bobcats fans on here talking **** about the Jazz.

Cyrone's posts make me smile.

I don't know why, but it just makes me chuckle watching a Mississippi State fan constantly trying to force his team into the conversation when literally NOBODY else on the board could give a flying ****.

This is not a good thing.

Zulu used all of his brain capacity on Science and making kool Halloween costumes. Forgot to save any for sports.

And he has two years left, right? I haven't seen many graduate and transfer guys that have 2 years.

He does have 2 years left, which is rare, but nice to see.

At this point, if I'm Adam Shulz, I'm outta there. Unless he values a degree from Utah over a FCS school. Brandon Cox has also gotta wonder where he fits. Thompson fits the same mold of the dual threat QB, Wilson is back in the mix, Connor Manning could still win the job outright, and Donovan Isom may be the most talented of them all waiting in the wings as a Freshman. I forget the kids name, but Utah will also be adding a Wyoming transfer after this season.

I think Cox is outta here.

I will personally drive Adam Schultz to whatever school he would like to transfer to. Sooner the better doe.
