Trey Burke already setting a record...

This thread has a definite buckner vibe to it.

Trey set a record that will likely never be broken, and will go down in the annals of the NBA, as the only Jazz player with a 4 letter nick-name starting with T and rhyming with "ray" to go 5-17 in their first winning effort in their rookie year, and still be talked about in the fandom as the team's best shooter.

To put this record into perspective...Following Chris Webber being drafted in 1993 up until the 2013 draft, Michigan has only produced 5 players drafted in the first round (ZERO in the last decade - prior to the 2013 draft). Pretty weak when you compare that to the Kentuckys, North Carolinas, Dukes, Kansas's of college basketball.

Thnx for that. I thought kkk had posted a really legitimate record.

These records make me laugh. like dwayne wade setting the record for most blocks by a player 6'4" and under. He's 6'4" when he sets the record for guys under say 6'7" maybe but it's still not much of a record is it. I bet they don't hang a banner in Miami for it.
