Trey Burke FG% and 3p%

Lets face it, Trey isn't a starting point in this league. He could be an energy guy off the bench, but he just doesn't move the ball enough for Quin's offense. When he gets the ball, he wants to figure out how he can get his shot off. he seems like he could care less where the other players are and how to get them involved. He has a hard time getting inside the key and forget about him finishing near the rim. His push shot is awful. DL needs to face it and move him before he wrecks our season.

Myth huh?...

"Lindsey credited Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin for pushing Jazz management toward making the decision to trade for Burke and explaining "why Trey fit with the program."

You could still stay management was saying these things at the time to get the fans on Corbin's side. At the time the deal was thought to be a steal for a good PG, so it made Corbin look good (at the time).

I guess you could say about anything.

Doesn't this just mean that he's gunna average like 80% on threes for like a month an a half sometime? You know cause of statistics and runs.

Well Chucker Smiles had declining stats for 4 years before Utah decided to finally give up on him. Hate to poke holes in your theory, but there's the equal likelihood that Trey actually peaked last season at 38%/33%.

Metrically, by most measures at least, hes in the bottom 5 of ALL PGs in the league so far. So, its possible he doesn't even pan out as a bench guy. His struggles are insane, JLIIIs tutelage from last season is really paying dividends...

I think shooing coaches are working with Trey to get better mechanics for his shot but now he is inbetween his old shot and developing hs new shot. His mechanics seem different every shot. Hopefully he can get good mechanics down and become a better shooter. I also think Trey doesnt really like Utah and Salt Lake City. He seems depressed about life. Probably not a good long term fit for Jazz
