I'm actually mildly impressed that he got another NBA contract, even if it isn't guaranteed. There's no shame in ending up having a long career in Europe. I think he'll maybe stick for another year or two, and then go make some money overseas.

As for TB3's career, I though he'd be at least as good as Jameer Nelson.

They spent 2 first round picks on him, which sucks, but the draft is a crapshoot for the most part, so it is what it is. After that, Trey's trade value was so low that they were kind of trapped in holding on to him in hopes he might develop. By the time they dumped him, I don't think they thought he was still a valuable player.
However, there were quite a few fans here who predicted the long NBA career as a solid backup stuff as he was headed out the door. Some people even thought he would flourish/take off in a different situation. Those are the people I'm talking about, not the ones who misjudged a college player.
Update: OKC and Trey Burke back out of agreement.

Jazz should have drafted Giannis. Exum/Hood/Giannis/Favors/Gobert would be a long and proud lineup.
