Your original claim was that Burke played with only one offensive weapon and that was why Trey performed poorly - because he is a supporting player and needs better players around him. Yes, Hayward at 19 pts/per was certainly a weapon and the #1 option. But you claimed he was the only weapon, so you are also implying that Favors (16 pts/per), Burks (14 pts) and Kanter (15 pts/per) were not offensive weapons.

I'd say that lineup offered Trey FOUR pretty good offensive weapons. I used the period up until Burks got hurt to show that he essentially performed no different when he was the starter with good offensive players around him than he did when he was the backup and was trying to be more of a scorer.

No matter the situation, Trey shot a miserable 37%/32% for the season. I didn't make that up. It's a fact you can see on any sports site you choose.

By your argument, we should expect Trey's numbers to decline again this season. Jazz essentially have done nothing to improve the players around Trey. And inserting Gobert lessens the offensive potential of the starting unit.
