What's new

Trey Lyles being held out of practice/Summer League for now

I'm talking to anyone who has been perpetuating the ridiculous trade rumors like the Jazz getting Paul George or Kevin Durant.

Ok. Ok. I was gonna say... I'm seriously gonna make a Three Way Triple Session IPA. No trolling.

But yeah, anyone that thinks they know anything... get real.

15.5M? Is that all?

That's like bench warmer money nowadays.

Makes the Favors and Burks contracts look like pocket change. Hayward's contract looks really good now too.

We all should be pinching ourselves 'cause we've got Rudy for less than 1.2 mil this year!

Wal-Mart's carrot cake is pretty damn good.

So are their cinnamon cookies. Got some for my son's school party, tried one and went back to buy something else for the party.

As far as cake goes, you take a bitching recipe, buy the best ingredients you can find (and afford), add your own personal touches to it. . . and then bake that mother******.

If you're going to buy a cake, skip Walmart and go big or go home.

Any meaningful FAs still out there? Not that I want the Jazz to sign one, just wondering what the activity level around the league is expected to be.

Enes Kanter is going to sign for over $15.5M annually. True story.

He got paid. Let's see if OKC can now get an honest days work out of him. Easier said then done.

Okay, can someone explain the cake thing to me, or perhaps point me to wh ere it was introduced.

Dennis Lindsey said it in one of his recent interviews with 1280. It was used as an analogy/explanation for why the FO could make a case for why staying quiet in free agency could be the right thing to do. We have the ingredients (players and coaches), recipe (game plan and high character), now all we need to do is bake the cake. Bringing in new dominant ingredients (players) could alter the recipe, cook time, and outcome. Etc.

it's a cooking metaphor

Seriously, I think this might be the most pathetic thread I've ever seen on JFC.

I started this thread for legitimate reasons, and haven't contributed to any of PKM's attention whoring in it. What do I win for starting the most pathetic thread?
