Trey Lyles confirms his agent held him out of Jazz summer league and practices.
Not a big fan of this agent of his.... already trying to mess up the chemistry we currently have in Utah.
does this Lyles thing remind you of any stuff that has gone down in your family business? If so, what advice would you have for Trey?
Not really never had anything like this happened ever... never had to use an agent, I am my own man.
isn't it hard to be your own man in a family business? all that drama, amiright??
Any issues come up we just talk it through. Communication. Give and take. Forgiveness.
Family is still family.
Lyles agreed to the full 120 percent that he was allowed to receive today, or $2,239,800. So by not agreeing to a deal until Tuesday, the Jazz were able to preserve $373,300 on their cap sheet, allowing them a bit more maneuverability in the early stages of free agency.
I wonder, do you guys refrain from growing and distributing Gerber Daisies? I mean, their stocks get bent so easily because of their heavy heads. It's an easy way to lose a big percentage of your harvest/capital. Probably really stressful and thus very bad for family relations.
Seems like both the Jazz and Trey's camp got what they wanted... pity we weren't able to capitalise on the FA signing though.
And we missed out on trade Paul George for lyles. I wish we can go back and make that one.
