You gotta love his playmaking ability, floor vision, ball-handling for a big man, unselfishness, ability to attack the rim and overall versatility. High bb IQ. The potential is there.

One of the things I don't like is that when he attacks the rim, he often double clutches and releases the ball on his way down. He won't always get the call, and basically rarely make it. Hopefully adding strength will help with that.

So after getting a glimpse of what Lyles could be, if him and Kaminsky are both there at #12 who do you take?

It's encouraging that he can beat his guy on the perimeter, get to the rim and find the open man when the paint is clogged. Yeah, the finishing ability is not there yet but as you said, he is likely to improve when he gains some strength and experience (he won't get those summer league calls against veterans during the regular season).

I love his potential. Obviously it's a big if for him to put it all together. Big part is developing his jumpshot. Obviously has a nice floor game. excited to watch him develop.
