Trey Lyles: The *official* Bench Celebration thread

I was perusing last night's stellar edition of Game Time magazine, when my eyes alighted on a singular feature known as "Off the Court." This installment of the series was peculiar in that it was closer to the actual court, arguably on the court, as compared to other installments where the dividing line between on court and off are more starkly drawn. It included an analysis of the bench celebration of an NBA professional basketballman who goes by the name of Trey Lyles, and who plays for the Utah Jazz. I attach an image here for you to examine:

Game Time has upped its game of journalistic integrity and relevance. This thread may serve in perpetuity as a place where these celebrations can be further studied, analyzed, , debated, discussed, and archived going forward. Please add your vines, your photographs, and your commentary below.

Great thread! Two thumbs up

Lmfao. Rock out Lyles. Don't let the haters get ya down!

I personally love it. He looks stupid, but he's having fun. It's a game. Even though they're pros, it's supposed to be fun. Kent Bazemore used to do the exact same thing. As long as he performs when he's in the game, who cares?

For those who didn't know, Lyles does have agirlfriend - or at least he did when he was drafted. His celebrations had kind of left me wondering.

Lyles is one of the reasons UK won a record-breaking 38 games in a row to start the college season last year.

There were a few perfectionist typa personalities on that squad, and Trey's personality really balanced well with some of those players.. Especially Karl Towns.

So if anyone's complaining about this sorta stuff (1) get used to it. (2) lighten up!! it's just a game!

I absolutely love it. The Jazz need to have some fun in order to keep momentum. You can't be serious all the time. If you can't enjoy work...then find another job. He enjoys it and most of the other players seem to like it from him.
