Lyles actually got in the game vs. Portland and got 5 points in 5 minutes on 1-3 shooting. It looks to me that during his viscious pine time, he didn't let it go to waste and bought a season pass to Chuckarama. It looks to me like he needs to add some muscle and drop some fat this offseason. He is not going to be having people think he is Mailman Jr.

I was always skeptical of Lyles. Then everyone's excitement and his solid rookie season turned me into a believer. Now, I am a Lyles atheist. Dude is not in shape and is selfish. He thins he's some type of player. He's another type of player. Most disappointing season of anyone. He needs to spend the start of next season in the D-League, even if he comes back in shape.

I think most of us knew this was a crappy pick in the first place. He will be playing in China before long.

Locke's podcast last week basically dumped him in the selfish category that he's lost the plot after seeing his friends from UK get all the playing time and shots they want, and lost the team mentality. Be interesting to see the conversations behind closed doors with him and the coaching staff over the last few months.

Still think he's got a lot of ability. Imagine how good this team would have been this year if he'd played worth a damn and Exum was better.

First thing he absolutely needs to do is teach his Dad the words to the National Anthem:

If Locke is saying that publicly and Lyles is serving multiple life sentences you know the coaching staff and the FO and probably even the other players are really unhappy with him.

yeah he basically all but said that Dante fell into the same trap early, which seems to be part of why he got into the doghouse early in the season, he was thinking about his own game too much and not what he can do to help the team but that somehow he got the message. Just seems like Trey hasn't. Shame, we could have used his contributions

just don't get why the jazz draft 19 year olds, then refuse to play them in the d league. the only explanation is that they worry they will struggle down there and it will absolutely kill their confidence rather than having it on life support like Lyles now or Exum has been at times.

If last night's DNP doesn't send a message to him particuarly with the Jazz being so short handed, I don't know what will.
