Which is why I've said any swap involving Hayward should start with #3 AND the right to swap with Brooklyn next season.

Done and done. You trade for Brooklyn #17 and Boston #17 so that way you own both picks and own the swapping dealio.
With Exum possibly being out until December, or at least on limited minutes until December, we will SUCK.
That gives us two top 10 picks next year in a LOADED draft.

that is a great core. Plus, we would have Lyles, Hood, Mack. AND that pick. I'd do that trade. In a heartbeat.
We'd make the playoffs next year, add in Brooklyn's top 3 pick, have a star in Cousins and a potential star in Exum.
I'd still go out and get Teague.
How about this as well? Love will be had for cheap this offseason. Cleveland will look to dump him to clear salary cap space. Trade Withey and a future pick for Love. I'd trade anyone not names Gobert, Favors, Hayward, Exum, Hood, Lyles for Love.

Chris Mannix was on the radio yesterday I think, and he was talking about Utah and he said that he has been told that the Jazz don't expect Exum at full strength until December. He said that he wasn't sure if Exum would be on minutes restrictions but he was told that the Jazz weren't sure if Exum would be ready for the start of the season, which was surprising because usually this injury doesn't take so long to recover from.
