Trump and North Korea

And there goes the Nobel Peace Prize.

But hey, football players are being forced to stand for the national anthem, so #winning.

Whew, I'm so happy forced symbolic gestures of patriotism are back!

Maybe republicans should actually accomplish something before spiking the football next time?

What’ll they do with those Donald and “Supreme Leader” commemorative coins?

Sounds like John Bolton’s comments about making “North Korea into Libya” went over like a lead balloon. I can’t imagine a worse thing to tell the Korean regime than that.

What’ll trump tweet about tomorrow morning to make up for this disaster? Hillary? The NFL? Or CNN?

This summarizes trump’s presidency perfectly.

Trump runs his ***.
The right creams itself thinking that Donald might actually accomplish something.
Experts, the decent, and the left raise questions. Smart people understand that complicated problems are rarely solved by simple solutions. The right accuses doubters of being unpatriotic.
Trump fails. But the right claims it’s really a win

It’s pretty ****ing hilarious to see how pathetically ineffective this ******* is as president. And then watch his dimwitted fan club claim that they actually won by losing. He’s literally accomplished zero. His lone legislative achievement is the tax cut that republicans can’t run fast enough away from.

Truly, the only lasting effects of trump and his presidency are the damages he and Hannity have wrecked on the public’s trust of institutions and his poor judicial appointments.

I guess I shouldn’t say he hasn’t accomplished anything. He’s gonna get a lot of democrats elected in six months. That makes me happy. One party clearly has no business being in a position of power.

3 second summary of how this all went down.

One of my coworkers was just in my office praising Trump for being such an awesome president and one of the smartest men in the world. He is a follower of Trump's Twitter account and loves how "he tells it like it is." Pointing out the ways that none of this is true has done nothing in the past to dampen his enthusiasm for MAGA, so I didn't even try anymore.

I literally just finished listening to a 10 minute lecture by a co-worker about how Trump is the best president ever.

I think there could be a reasonable (and by "reasonable" I don't mean "right") argument for the positives of Trump's presidency, but the view of his supporters that he's some kind of truth-teller is bizarre as ****. He can't talk without lying or embellishing or using massive bravado. He's the most phoney public figure I can think of.

It's that kind of day, apparently. Hope our weekends are better.
