Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

Tom Homan, the White House border czar, allegedly accepted $50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents posing as business executives during a sting operation last year, according to MSNBC. The payment was made after Homan implied that he could help the agents secure government contracts in a second Trump administration.
In layperson’s terms, this is what bribery looks like: officials promising favors in exchange for money.
The investigation related to Homan — which was launched during the Biden administration and was first reported by MSNBC this past weekend — was only recently shut down by FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche.

The Homan story raises a question that has come up over and over again since President Donald Trump catapulted himself to the White House: Do American voters actually care about corruption? After all, Trump has so far gotten away with maintaining unprecedented conflicts of interest, accepting gifts from foreign governments, and turning the presidency into a giant cash grab. And despite his history of fraud and corruption, he still won a second term last November.

Yet polls consistently indicate that a majority of Americans think that corruption is a serious problem that plagues Congress, the presidency, and the Supreme Court. And there’s evidence that corruption scandals can drag down politicians. One recent example is Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City, who was indicted last year on corruption charges. An overwhelming majority of New Yorkers believe that Adams should resign, and his reelection bid seems all but doomed: Most recent polls show Adams’s support is in single-digits.

So why is it that no level of corruption in the Trump administration — no matter how brazen or how high up it goes, from Homan to other members of Trump’s Cabinet to the first family and the president himself — seems to ever stick?

Public shaming can be a powerful weapon for citizens protesting their government. It creates an environment that makes the shamed person lose legitimacy, and it puts pressure on institutions or other people in power to take action. And the prospect of public shaming likely deters some politicians from taking shortcuts or engaging in petty corruption, not out of principle or ethics but out of fear of getting caught. After all, public shaming was a tool that ultimately helped push many politicians to resign in disgrace, from President Richard Nixon to former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Trump has discovered that not caving to shame eventually leads people to let go and move on. His seeming inability to feel shame has allowed him to plow through scandals — like the Access Hollywood tape — that would have easily ended other politicians’ careers. It’s also allowed him to maintain a sprawling web of conflicts of interest without feeling the need to answer to anyone. Throughout his time in politics, Trump has shown little remorse for his misdeeds, and his strategy to simply power through scandals, often with no apologies, has proven remarkably effective.

Also, there is the cult factor of course.

It seems to be the case, no doubt. In the case of Homan, there is a tape showing him accepting the bribe. Getting a hold of that tape might help. I say “might”. These things usually get released somehow. Hope that happens with Homan. He hasn’t denied it so far, but is laughing it off.

So house republicans are now pushing legislature to put Charlie Kirks face on the silver dollar. His face on one side and the words "Well done, good and faithful servant" on the other side of the coin.

Maybe we could put Rush Limbaughs face on some currency as well. Total clown show.

I’m going to keep posing this question because I still have not had anyone willing to answer yet. This is open to any of the tds circle jerkers that post here non stop all day every day.
How has your obsessive hate for Trump over the last decade made your life better and more fulfilling?

Donald Trump held a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office yesterday with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. During Q&A with the press, a reporter asked Trump about his previous meeting with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Trump did not seem to recognize these two leaders and outright skipped the reporter's question.

From the comments: Putin has long been a proponent of the 3 kings aproach to world governance. South East asia the pacific and africa belong to the chinese king, North and South America and the atlantic to the American King, and Northern asia, the middle east, europe and the arctic to the Russian King with Russia being the new Romea and the other two kingdoms as vassals. Trump thinks he will be King and is on board which is why he's doing his damndest to destroy NATO and the UN and any good will we have with our east asian and european counterparts in favor of western hemisphere isolationism.Xi will in no way bend the knee to russia, but will accept any help he can get to further his own goals, especially if that help includes america shooting itself in the foot repeatedly. What is happening at home and abroad makes much more sense when you look at it through the three kingdoms lense of Putins dream world.

So Putin wants to base world maps on those found in the book 1984, roughly? With the three powers having a fake never ending war where when one player gets too strong the other two team up to counter, but before the duo gets too far one splits off and teams up with the loner to counter the strongest member of the duo? The purpose of which is to keep the middle class occupied with serving the war effort and the lower class is mostly left to their meager endeavors.

Sounds about right. Orwell should have titled his book 2025 and people would be loosing their **** to call him a fortune teller.

"What we have here is a clear, vindictive prosecution, a clear, selective prosecution. We have a president for the first time in history ordering his attorney general to indict his enemies. And the attorney general — instead of being the independent force that she’s supposed to be — saying, 'Yes, sir. How fast can I get that done for you?'

Cobb called out Bondi for proclaiming she supported evenhanded justice during her confirmation hearing — then proceeding with pursuing charges against Comey.

"This is not that," he lamented.

Cobb warned Trump's administration that they have a "weak case" against Comey, and could see it tossed for vindictive and selective prosecution.

"I think this is a very problematic case for the government to bring," he said. "But I think the way in which they brought it is problematic for the entire country. And this is either the end of the rule of law in America, or it’s a tipping point against the authoritarian activity that we’ve seen from this president and his attorney general."

"I mean, this is unprecedented. It’s what every law student is told is not possible. And what distinguishes us from dictatorships around the world — that... the executive leading the executive branch does not dictate to prosecutors who will and will not be charged. Now, you know, we’re seeing that."

Now of course trumpers will be like "but the DOJ went after trump during the Biden administration!" and will of course call it samesies. And of course trumpers wont be able to see the huge difference. That being that prosecutors recommended indicting trump due to having the evidence for the indictment. On the other hand, federal prosecutors literally told the AG that there was not evidence for an indictment. trump told Bondi to indict Comey anyways evidence of criminal wrongdoing or not.

Another big difference between the two is that trumps crime and prosectution had nothing to do with the President (Biden). That case was about using hush money to pay off a porn star. The Comey case directly involves the current president (trump). Its all stemming from the Russia investigation which had mucho to do with trump and his campaign.

Not to mention the fact that trump literally campaigned on using the justice department to go after his enemies.

"President Donald Trump told reporters Friday that the indictment against former FBI Director James Comey is about pursuing long-standing corruption and not political payback.

"It's about justice really, it's not revenge," Trump said while departing the White House. "It's also about the fact that you can't let this go on. They are sick, radical left people, and they can't get away with it, and Comey was one of the people."

"He wasn't the biggest, but he's a dirty cop," Trump added. "He's always been a dirty cop. Everybody knew it."

It's terrible how fast this administration moves from one chaotic thing to the next. Obviously this is a deliberate strategy. The Comey situation is headline news and should lead to impeachment but it will be 2nd page material by the middle of next week.

100%. It's really incredible. Nonstop chaos.

Trump Rages At Private Company To Fire Employee In Frothing Friday Night Rant

Trump Rages At Private Company To Fire Employee In Frothing Friday Night Rant
President Donald Trump raged at Microsoft to “immediately” fire former Deputy Attorney General and current President of Global Affairs Lisa Monaco in a social media rant that referenced the company’s government contracts.

After several posts that included a promise to consider releasing the Amelia Earhart files Friday night, Trump fired off a post strong-arming Microsoft to fire Monaco:

"Corrupt and Totally Trump Deranged Lisa Monaco (A purported pawn of Legal Lightweight Andrew Weissmann), was a senior National Security aide under Barack Hussein Obama, and a Lawfare and Weaponization obsessed Deputy Attorney General under Crooked Joe Biden and Lisa’s Puppet “Boss” Attorney General Merrick Garland, who were all the architects of the worst ever Deep State Conspiracies against our Country (RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, the January 6th Hoax, the Illegal Raid on Mar-a-Lago, the Biden “Autopen” Scandal, the Documents Witch Hunt, and more!). Monaco has been shockingly hired as the President of Global Affairs for Microsoft, in a very senior role with access to Highly Sensitive Information. Monaco’s having that kind of access is unacceptable, and cannot be allowed to stand. She is a menace to U.S. National Security, especially given the major contracts that Microsoft has with the United States Government. Because of Monaco’s many wrongful acts, the U.S. Government recently stripped her of all Security Clearances, took away all of her access to National Security Intelligence, and banned her from all Federal Properties. It is my opinion that Microsoft should immediately terminate the employment of Lisa Monaco. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT"

trump thinks there is high demand for the Amelia Earhart files to be declassified and released lol. I have literally never once in my entire life heard anyone say that they wish that the Earhart files would be released. In fact, im pretty sure that almost no one even suspects that there are any classified Amelia Earhart files even in existence.

"Everyone: Release the Epstein files. Trump: Best I can do is Amelia Earhart’s flight logs," Nick Lutsko wrote on X.

"'And what of Jeffrey Epstein, sir? Will you release the files about him?' 'You were talking about Amelia Earhart?'" Jorge Ribas wrote on X.

"What terrifies me is if Trump were to declassify the Amelia Earhart files. Imagine the backlash against peaceful coconut crabs?" John Bria wrote on X.

"Personally, I'd rather have the Epstein files than files about Amelia Earhart.... Just sayin'," Brandon Collins wrote on X.

"Don’t worry about food prices or affordable housing. He’s on this Amelia Earhart situation we’ve all been worrying about," Doc Coyle wrote on X.

"Trump just called to release the Amelia Earhart files on Truth Social. Why doesn’t he make a post like this calling for the release of all the Epstein files?" Ed Krassenstein wrote on X.

What a troll.

Yeah, I agree. That's how Trump views the world, it really is as if the American experiment in self governance, in a constitutional republic, simply never happened. That’s all irrelevant to Trump. I’m sure he knows nothing about our history, our ideals. (He thought the American airports played a key role in the American Revolution).

Instead, he sees this hemisphere as his area of his control. Without so much as a how do ya do, he just decided it was time for him to seize control and join Putin and Xi as the Grand Triumvirate controlling the world. And institute Project 2025 here, to help provide the State power that an absolute ruler requires.

This is partly what led me to speculate that we can find ourselves in a similar enviornment as the citizens of Russia: “just shut up, do not rock the boat, keep a low profile, and be grateful you’re not in a gulag”. The American people will find themselves right there, wondering “hey, how the hell did this happen?”

Saw some interesting stuff from the comments section:

I would like the DOJ and FBI to look into the so-called death of the Convicted Felon Trump's first wife. Wore 6" heels her entire life and supposedly tripped and fell down her apartment stairs. Then Trump had her immediately buried at his private golf course at Bedminster. All this after she told her lawyer he kept a Hitler book on the bedroom nightstand.

we have known for years that trump had Mien kampf by his bed side....but the burying her on a golf course to shirk taxes...that is sick...where were her kids in this...? shows how much respect they have for their mother.

2016 southern district of NY case 1:16-cv-07673
Date Filed: Sept. 30, 2016Segment from attachment 5:

I was hired by and paid directly by Mr. Epstein from the years of 1991-2000 to attract adolescent women to attend these parties, most of which were held at what is known as the Wexner Mansion located at 9 E. 71st St. in New York City.

In June, 1994 while performing my duties as a recruiter of adolescent women to attend Mr. Epstein's parties, I met a 13-year-old adolescent woman, the Plaintiff in this matter, at the PortAuthority in New York City who said that she had come to New York City in the hope of starting a modeling career.

I persuaded the Plaintiff to attend a series of parties of Mr. Epstein that took place during thesummer of 1994. I told her that, if she would join me at the parties, she would be introduced to people who could get her into the modeling profession and she would be paid for attending.

It was at these series of parties that I personally witnessed the Plaintiff being forced to perform various sexual acts with Donald J. Trump and Mr. Epstein. Both Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein were advised that she was 13 years old.

I personally witnessed four sexual encounters that the Plaintiff was forced to have with Mr trump during this period, including the fourth of these encounters where Mr. Trump forcibly raped her despite her pleas to stop.
