I was sure he said he wanted us to unify. And I expected he would lead that effort. If he meant it. Of course, I did not really expect such an effort on his part. But that’s his fault, not mine.



But, I was right about his stated desire to unite, or, as he put it to his supporters upon his victory, “for awhile anyway”.

There’s a disconnect between pious sounding dreams of unity, saying the time for unity has come, and the reality of Donald Trump. I don’t know how Trump supporters deal with this striking contrast between promise and actions. 4 more years of his idea of unity.

The man who wants to unite us. No Trump supporter would dare admit how piss poor an example of unifying leadership he presents here. We got him for another term. Harmony in the body politic will continue to deteriorate as is, esp. when he always aims squarely for division. I don’t know why there exists actual apologists for this disconnect.

Pretty sure there’s a big faucet near Lake Tahoe or Mt Rainier that the gay liberal Muslim Haitians refused to turn on because of DEI. It’s a yewge faucet. A big beautiful faucet. Hey so what happened to Q Anon? Did the contradictions catch up to them to an extent that even they couldn't do the mental gymnastics necessary to effectively evade reality?
