Rihanna, from Barbados, performed in 2023; The Weeknd, from Canada, in 2021; and Shakira, from Colombia, co-headlined with Jennifer Lopez in 2020. British artists such as Coldplay, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney have also performed on the Super Bowl stage.

Luckily there will now be a safe space for anyone triggered by latinos. Prior to this there was nowhere for the triggered snowflakes to go because we only had one channel and one channel only. There was simply no alternative other than to watch the superbowl halftime show. TV's were unable to be turned off and consumers eyes were unable to close or look away. No other networks existed and there was no youtube, amazon prime, disney plus, hulu, or any other streaming companies for the triggered to snowflakes to turn to.
Finally there is another option.

So Qatar gets a military base on US soil close to our nuclear arsenal. The perfect Trojan Horse. Trump sold us out for a gold coin. Why? bc Obama has one and Trump covets it.

Who in their right mind would invite a nation that is clearly not an ally of the United States—one that shares no alignment with us beyond financial interests—to the table? Donald Trump has proven himself to be the most un‑American president in our nation’s history. I knew he lacked depth, but this decision puts him in a league of his own. Knowing that many within this country’s leadership have openly hostile views toward America, Trump’s choice to embrace them purely for money shows a reckless disregard for national security. He is undermining our defense and granting them access due to what can only be described as a staggering failure of judgment.

Looks like Quid Pro Quo to me. First came the $400 Million luxury 747 airliner "gift" to Trump. Next came Trump's EO committing the US to Qatar's defense, a unilateral action without congressional debate or Senate approval. Now we formally signed a letter of acceptance to construct a Qatar Emiri Air Force facility at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho funded by Qatar and built by U.S.-based contractors under the oversight of the U.S. military. Why? Will these folks get Diplomatic Immunity and will their base, like their consular offices be considered Qatari soil in the US??

If Obama or Biden had done this, everyone knows what the reaction would be from Trump et al. Reaction by MAGA certainly would not have been this muted.

What jumps out to me from the article: Donald Trump may later find a way to send some healthcare money to people who voted for him but not to people who didn’t. This is called impoundment and impoundment is illegal. The regime, even now, is impounding money intended for cities and states run by Democrats. It’s yet another bid to extort the Democrats in the Congress into accepting Trump’s terms.

(The Republicans on the US Supreme Court know impoundment is illegal but have occasionally ruled that it’s legal if a Republican does it.)
 

Donald Trump broke off from licking his wounds after losing out on this year’s Nobel Peace Prize for a lengthy digression about how one of his pro-golfer buddies has apparently has made the world a better place.

“Speaking of somebody that saves lives, don’t ever play golf with him because Keegan Bradley just walked in,” the president told reporters at White House press conference on Friday, after spying the Team USA Ryder Cup captain at the door.

“What a great job. He’s respected by those golfers like nobody, and I just want to compliment you, Keegan, was an incredible job right there,” Trump went on, apparently in reference to Keegan’s performance at this year’s tournament, held toward the end of last month, at which the U.S. lost out to Team Europe 15-13.

“So the person who actually got the Nobel prize called today, called me and said, ‘I’m accepting this in honor of you because you really deserved it,” the president said. “A very nice thing to do. I didn’t say, ‘Then give it to me,’ though. I could have. I think she might have.”
“She was very nice. And I’ve been, you know, I’ve been helping her along the way. They need a lot of help in Venezuela, it’s a basic disaster,” he went on. “I’m happy because I saved millions of lives, many millions of lives.”

Notice that Trump is the only person reporting that conversation...And finally, please notice that, as usual, Donald John Trump seeks praise for something he never did - "I saved millions, many mllions of lives".

Well, he bombed a country, he blew up a few boats, he's deploying troops in cities in his own country over a "surge in crime" that doesn't even exist and that he just made up, So, yeah, he's done a lot for, uh, peace?

He accepted a Purple Heart given to him by a veteran, although he has never sacrificed ANYTHING for this country. He took a soccer championship trophy from an awards ceremony, although he had nothing to do with soccer, and now he says he would have accepted the Nobel if the rightful winner offered it to him. What a worm.
