It costs us a lot of money for Bill's penthouse. $250,000 per month if I remember right an that was back then who knows what it cost per month now.

Why do I care if New York City has to spend 12 cents per day on average for added protection? Hell do they not pay like $10 a day in tolls or ride a hour train that costs like $22 a day?

It's $1 million per day. Literally nothing you have mentioned in this thread has cost more than half that, and even that was a one time expense for a flight.

If you can't see that Trump is willfully wasting taxpayer dollars, then don't talk about it.

Also, it's not just a cost for NYPD. they are being reimbursed for most of the cost of protection by the federal government. It's a cost we all share, and it is going to approach 1/2 billion per year.

If Trump wants to use Trump tower as his residence, I think he should have to pay the bill for the extra cost.

I suppose you are right. The richest place in the world probably can not afford the twelve cents per day that it will cost to keep the citizens safe. My guess is THEY probably welcome the extra security but who am I to tell someone that has nothing to do with it that there moral outrage is misplaced.

Because they have to pay for immigrant protection. It's very expensive to keep one immigrant and her son safe.
