I know Trout is a big fan of Twitter. There are links to MSN IM, Skype, and such. How about being able to link to a Twitter account?

I don't know how you can still not see the benefit and potential of Twitter and other social media after what's just happened in Egypt. It's not the tool, it's how you use it. Twitter can be pretty awesome. Did you follow the stories of how people were using Twitter to help each other dig out and get supplies during the blizzards? Stop being so old.

    geez, you're harsh...

for the record, I'd love to quit being so old. Do you have a time machine I could borrow?
    ;-)

I do think it's a good idea. I just love the idea of this book, because it seems like such an oxymoron. Though I will say that with all the changes, twitter is far more complex now than it was three years ago. Plus, honestly, most people do say a bunch of nothing on twitter, about the same as facebook. But there's certainly a place in this world for saying nothing....

And as has been mentioned, it's a bit of a double-edged sword, filled with both good and bad information. But I do think it's become an indispensable tool.

Now whether it's worth $10 billion, I'm not so sure.
