Ty Lawson is a top 5 point guard in the NBA

He is a better shooter, Rondo is a better passer, defender, rebounder, a triple double machine. Rondo can score, he just can't shoot the three. His 15-18 foot jumper has gotten much better. To say Lawson is more complete because he is a better shooter is inaccurate

Like I said, stats are deceiving. I shouldn't have used the phrase far more complete, but I do think he's better because everything Rondo does so well - Lawson does real well for a PG too (including rebound). But there are some things Lawson can do on the court that only one or two point guards in the league can do.

The final step for Lawson is consistency, and I think he's getting there. If Denver puts one or two more viable NBA starters around him, I think it will soon be a no-brainer.

Lawson started game 6 off great. He was attacking Bogut in the pick n roll and getting wide open midrange jumpers. Then it stopped and he couldn't hit anything.
