I don't like bell starting any more then the rest of you, but you do need some fire power on the bench. Bell could start, but that's not a complete disaster as long as he doesn't play more then 10 to 15 minutes. Ty is more worried about winning then just playing young guys. This is his livelihood, it's easy for us to say sacrifice wins to play the young players, but if Ty thinks this way he could be out the door. There is a ton of pressure for coaches to win now.
We can blame some of this on the lockout shortened TC and preseason. There just isn't time to fully acclimate Burks to the pro game. It's possible Ty wants some scoring off the bench from the wing position, so ether Miles or Hayward needs to play starter minutes off the bench. Then if and when Burks is ready to play, the Jazz take Bell out of the starting lineup and make Burks the primary bench player on the wing to be a scoring threat.
Everyone needs to relax, bell isn't going to kill the Jazz. There is a good chance he will be better then last year, with a full year of being back from injury.
