I see he has a monster game in the DLeague this afternoon playing for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. If Favors is out he could be a vet pickup. He does have 44 games of playoff experience and was the 13th pick in the 2009 draft.

Yeah, I'd certainly be willing to take a chance on him. No question he had an outstanding and decorated collegiate career at NC (played with Ty Lawson), but for some reason, never really made much of a mark in the bigs. Not sure he could give us anything more than Bolomboy though actually and I think that extra cap money has been doled out to the team by now so pretty sure it's not gonna happen this season.

I would be on board with signing Hansbrough because we only have three bigs that are playing right now. Gobert, Diaw and Withey. We don't know when or if Favors will return. And it seems like Quin is avoiding putting Bolomboy out there before he believes he's ready. The only problem is who would you cut?

Should have claimed Bogut or Casspi. Can't really see anyone else cracking the playoff rotation unless there's major injury issues. Might as well stick with the guys that got you there.

They have basically hte exact same stats. I would feel a lot better about playing Hansborough this year over Bolomboy.

I just read an article by Tony Jones that gives me lots of hope for favors.
He says the plan is to play favors in the last couple of games of the season to get him warmed up and close to game shape.

Then in the playoffs there are lots of days off between games so favors should be good to go and play a large amount of minutes knowing there will be ample rest time.
