I made some calls, and was able to confirm that these particular facilities were not built with my tithing.
It's nice. Really nice, but it still only falls about in the middle of Pac 12 football facilities from the reports I've read. It's certainly not going to hurt Utah in their recruiting efforts, but it's also not going to put them ahead of the likes of USC or Oregon.
How does it measure up with BYU's? Perhaps it will have a positive effect on in-state recruits. I know next to nothing about the Y's facilities but I can imagine they have built something very nice with church money.
We still compete against byu for recruits?? News to me.

There has been an indoor practice facility, the last one was built around 2004-2005, the old one before that I wanna say was in the mid 90's.There is an actual indoor field too right? That just seems to be the one thing that's not in any of the image galleries from the online newspaper articles I've seen.
