UFC on Fox: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos 11/12

Not sure if we have many UFC fans here, but I'm excited for this. Not only do I want to see this fight, but the UFC appearing on network television didn't even seem like a possibility 5 ago. The sport has exploded in popularity and it's exciting to watch it grow. This may be a sport that will accelerate in growth even more thanks to the NBA lockout.

If haven't given UFC a fair shot, I would suggest watching this one. It's gonna be huge! My understanding is that only the main event will be on Fox, the rest will be aired on Facebook and foxsports.com.

My money is on Dos Santos. I think Velasquez is a fighter who relies on exploiting the weaknesses of his opponents (like he did against Brock's stand-up skills), and Dos Santos doesn't have many flaws. I don't think Cain can stand up for long with Dos Santos and only has a slight edge in wrestling.

Anyhow, I truly hope that Dos Santos wins, if for no other reason than I don't want a racist sack of Mexican crap as the champ:

This is extremely exciting news. As someone who has watched the UFC from the early days in Denver. I almost can't believe its mainstreem.
