Veto. I don’t know that there is anything shady here but it’s just brutally lopsided if nothing else.

I offered a package that was maybe more laughable on the surface, but:
1 - I think my trade would’ve made his team better than this one (although I am biased to my vision and my players who I feel great about)
2 - I don’t think I would’ve been offended by a veto.

I disagree. It's a perfectly reasonable trade. Sure, Domino gives up the best player, but also the worst player.
