I know that a lot if people are going to complain about this thread but in all reality we should keep track of where the pick will fall.

As of right now we will be giving the pick to the Twolves but if it is a top 14 pick then the Jazz will keep it.

I won't be surprised if the Jazz keep their pick. What is obvious is that the Jazz are a flawed team. They do not have enough shooters to play inside out. They are really young. The Western conference is stacked. The Jazz have a ton of road games left. Where will it be? It might be higher than the GS pick if the Jazz get injuries to their two man scorers AJ and Millsap and if the young guys don't make progress faster (especially Hayward and Favors).

Jazz will keep their pick. The WC is deep. A couple of teams are going to finish with 34-36 wins and MISS the playoffs. Hopefully in a deep draft, a good wing will be available at #14.What's disappointing to me is that GS looks like one of the 5 or 6 worst teams in the league. We'll miss out on getting their pick. I was really hoping that with 6 lottery picks in 3 years (counting Favors), the Jazz would have a decent core. But right now, Favors looks like he'll be a project, Hayward may be nothing more than a sub, Kanter a banger off the bench and Burks perhaps a chucker like Almond. I hope to hell I'm wrong on all 4 counts, though.

So there has to be 16 better teams than the Jazz?

East:
For sure: Bulls, Heat, Pacers, Sixers
Maybes: Hawks, Magic, Celtics

West:
For sure: Thunder, Nugs, Clips, Spurs, Blazers, Mavs
Maybes: Lakers, Rockets, Grizzlies, Wolves

That's 10 teams for sure (20th pick)
There's 7 maybes. (20 - rand(1:7))

I like the GS pick's chances better

No, they have to have 8 teams in the west that are better. 8 teams from the East will make the playoffs. Whoever doesn't make the playoffs will be in the lottery.
