We haven't the pieces to win if we wanted too. I feel bad for Rudy, because when he comes back, he is going to look like crap with little to no defensive help from his teammates.

After hearing this news though, I don't think we lose all value. He now becomes an expiring contract since next year is not guaranteed.

It is possible we trade his expiring, he gets released in the off-season and then comes back to us next year.

Just commit him to being a defense coach for Donovan while he's out. I remember Donovan talking in interviews in the beginning of the season about how good Thabo is at pointing out how to read what offenses are doing, etc.
