What's new

Utah Jazz @ LA Lakers Tues Oct 6th

I'm at the game. Burke looked fantastic through the first quarter and since then the whole team has been a bit pathetic going into the half. The highlight was Pliess's technical foul

Kind of to be expected. Lakers starters played a lot of minutes in that 2nd quarter, the Jazz were experimenting with new lineups featuring a lot of 2nd/3rd unit guys.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact Gobert and Hayward played most of the 1st quarter and none of the 2nd.

I really like the dynamic Burks adds to the starting lineup. If we could get a reliable floor spreader in there with him and Hayward, then I'd be very happy.

You may be on to something.

Yeah, which is pretty why teh Jazz really need Burke to be an efficient catch and shoot player and why Neto probably can't play in the starting line up (at least not right away).

Burks looks great. His passing is great. He's been a decent passer but he seems to have taken a big leap forward IMO.

probably right about Neto.

I'm still kinda wishing they had the ballz to start Hood-Hayward-Burks. Hood can spread the floor.

I think Lyles can give us something this year. That's cool. Made one really nice pass.
