Utah Jazz launches ‘Baby Draft’ for newborn fans

The Utah Jazz is coming for your children, and the team is starting really early.Salt Lake City's NBA franchise has launched the first ever "Jazz Baby Draft," a program with University of Utah Health Care (UUHC) to "draft" babies born at University Hospital into the "Utah Jazz family."
Starting this season, babies born at University Hospital will receive a free blanket, emblazoned with the logos of the Jazz and UUHC, and a welcome letter from the team's head coach, Quin Snyder.

"A new addition to the family is always an exciting time," Jazz president Randy Rigby said in a statement. "We hope the families keep this exclusive Jazz baby blanket as a keepsake to remember their selection into the Utah Jazzfamily."

Must be some kind of loophole. If any of these babies grow up to be good basketball players, the Jazz will claim they own their draft rights when they try to go pro.
