What's new

Utah Jazz @ Minnesota Timberwolves 12/22/10 6PM MST

There's one thing about the first quarter blues I'm positively sure about: We never get anybody in foul trouble. Even if we've luckily stumbled into that a few times, we're NEVER in the bonus in the first. Bottom line: We just don't attack teams. Deron is always looking to distribute, we settle for jumpshots, and there isn't enough trust to keep the offense moving below the 10 second mark.

T-Wolves always play competitive at home - they should have beaten San Antonio at home a couple of weeks ago. This one was too close for comfort though.

Fes = 85 inches of incompetence.

Nice job by Hayward - all the tools are there. It will probably take him a year or two to figure it out though.

And what's with the boo'ing of Big Al? I thought Minnesotans were a laid back bunch. It's not like the guy left as a FA or even demanded a trade - I guess that's just the new thing.

the boo'ing in the game was more of a miss your free throw kinda boo. he was just a regular jaz zplayer once the game started.

before the game when he got introduced he got a standing o and cheers

I'm very impressed with Hayward's lateral quickness on D. A lot of guys try to go right at him when he checks in and he usually shuts them off. Not sure if it will ever translate into servicably guarding Kobe and Wade, but he definitely has lively legs.

Fesenko single handedly tried to lose this game for us during his 3 minutes of playing time in the 3rd. Jefferson and Hayward are able to overcome his garbage play.

Dude needs to lay the hammer down on people if he is going to foul. Knock Beasley's ugly *** to the floor.

Fes, once again, is letting us down. He did NOT look ready to play tonight; very sluggish, fat, and out of shape. If he doesn't get it together, we won't be resigning him next season.
DWill was totally into this game; even played hard on D, as well as hitting the boards.
Very nice to see Hayward, and his extended minutes in the 4th quarter when we were down 'til near the end showed coach has confidence in him.
