Utah Jazz @ NY Knicks - 5:30 MST

Last night might be the best I have ever seen KK look. I love her with her hair up. And down. And bald probably but especially with her hair up

Nah, inside word is Durant really wants to be a Knick, have The Garden as his home court. (He also loves The Hamptons, too. That's an extremely ritzy beach area out on Long Island.)

Where would you go if you were him. He ain't going to Atlanta or Phoenix. Nor the Lakers. Playing with a 34 year old LeBum who will get all the credit...Durant wants no part of that.

Believe it, a lineup of Durant, Kyrie, Dennis Smith Jr, and a top pick from Duke is formidable. They will instantly become the team to beat in the East.
I agree with all that...... If they can get zion

On a somewhat relevant note, a couple of advanced statistics seem to suggest that Mudiay may well be the worst player in the league(assuming that Carmelo is now retired and hence not in the league). His Box +/- is atrocious and his Value over Replacement Player has been consistently negative over the years, meaning that statistically, you could replace him with almost any player at his position and do better. But what really takes the cake is that Mudiay is in his fourth season and still has negative win-shares for his career. Not by much, mind you, we're talking a single win share in the negative, but still shocking. Now, a player getting negative win shares while playing 25+ minutes for the season happens. There's been ten or so in the past 5 years. Mostly rookies, and Kobe in his last season.

For example, De'Aaron Fox had -0.6 win shares last year. He's playing a difficult position, he's a rookie, the team was bad. Just by playing him, they lost half a game more than they would've otherwise. Of course, the Kings wanted to give a kid playing time and develop him. He's already got 5 win shares this year. Not bad for someone who just turned 21. Meanwhile, Mudiay has played almost 4 seasons and close to 250 games and has a combined total of -1.2 win shares. That's just astounding. Keep in mind that during his time in Denver, the team had a record of just a bit under .500 so it's not like he's spent all his time on a team like the current Knicks where there are no win shares to be divided because there are simply no wins. The dude is just flat out a bad player. You play him, your team does worse. Period.

But surely you remember how Jerry used to let teams run up 15 consecutive points without calling a timeout to break the momentum.

To my recollection, Sloan did not believe time-outs broke momentum. Personally, I'm not sure momentum is even a thing, but if it is, I don't see how a time-out would break it.

I know Our Beloved John Deere went crazy when his players wouldn’t follow game plan, but I wish he could have been a bit more antagonistic toward opponents in this way.

You call a time out to change something or draw up a special play. Why waste them?

Would you call a timeout to maybe change something like the other team going on a huge run and you wanted to draw up a special play to stop that run from continuing?
