Utah Jazz vs Phoenix Suns. 7:00 mountain time. Vivint smart home arena

Star players who actually play for the team will never get as much love as a white Mormon choir boy, trash can of a basketball player, on the opposing team.
I disagree with your over reaction.
I rarely see jimmer praise or even jimmer talk on jazz fanz.
I see lots of threads and discussions about jazz players though.
I never see jimmer jerseys when I go to jazz games. I often see Donovan Mitchell and Rudy gobert jerseys though.

The Jazz were up big. They were getting dunk after dunk. The fans were bored and tried to get excited. It's like getting overly excited about a chicken sandwich.

Gobert (and Mitchell in a more underhanded way) both commented how he got cheered louder than the team did, Rudy set a dunk record and the crowd went way more crazy for Jimmer's single basket. Rudy even said it must be a religion thing, I think it's a bad look and certainly doesn't appear to have endeared any of our players to our crowd.
I agree, but Jimmer being white has nothing to do with it.

That’s because Jimmer is an absolutely irrelevant NBA basketball player.

My point exactly.
He doesn't get as much love from our fans as our actual players do and it's an over reaction to say he does. Sample size of 14 minutes of play isn't a very large one imo.

Free chicken sandwiches get the most love from our fans tbh lol

I probably am overreacting. But you have a habit of responding to a post with numerous straw-men. I never disputed anything you said in your post. It's a fact that Jimmer got a louder cheer when his first shot in 10 went in than when Rudy Gobert set the dunk record, or for any of Rudy's huge dunks, or literally anything the Jazz did. All of the loudest cheers from last night were for an opposing player.

Guess we'll see when the far superior Kuzma comes to town tomorrow, he won't get nearly the love.

Probably not, but blame that on the Ute/Jazz fans sucking... I mean not being as obsessed with former players as BYU fans. What have BYU fans had to cheer for in the last 10 years, give them something.

You said he gets more love than jazz players.
What you probably should have said is he got more love than the jazz players in that game. I wouldn't have argued with that. Instead I took your statement at face value. No straw man to create.

How many times was kuzma the national player of the year again?

Straw man to compare kuzma to jimmer.

I remember the jazz playing against Kyle collinsworth. A former white Mormon byu player. No one cheered him.

Maybe it isn't so much about jimmer being white and Mormon as it is about him being the biggest college basketball start to ever play at a school in Utah.

Lol okay, I'll be sure to be extremely accurate next time, so you don't think that I am saying that a Utah Jazz forum that we both frequent extremely often talks more about a player in Shanghai than the Jazz themselves. With the context I thought it was pretty obvious Fishbro.

Chicken time gets the loudest cheers every night. Jimmer is the player equivalent of chicken time.
