My 4 year old niece could type up something that makes more sense than the drivel you unfortunately post on a daily basis. I never said that Booker was the most athletic SG in this class. I'm simply stating that your premise that Booker is not athletic is just flat out wrong. Stop being a lazy-*** and do your research, and maybe people will value your opinions on this message board.

What the hell am I supposed to think when you claim that someone is athletic, and then say they had the best athletic numbers at the combine than any other 2 guard since 2001?

My hell why am I even responding to this ****?!?! I would get more out of discussing these topics with my 4 year old nephew.

You ask the question, what should you do when someone makes a claim, and then backs it up by facts? So, how did the Jazz do, for those of us a half a world away? Who did well? Who sucked?

Kyle Anderson and Hood looked like they are NBA players are then there were a bunch of scrubs around them. Oh and Big Dog can still bark.

Hanlan and Cotton looked pretty bad. Cooley ran into everyone and everything and irritated all the opposing players. Lalane or whatever his name is had some decent moments and then missed an open finger roll from 3 feet out by 2 foot short of the rim.

Cooley is really starting to grow on me. Even after they sign Pleiss, I'm hoping he sticks over Grant Jerrett and Brock Motum. Good hustle, physical play and rebounding is a good skill set to have on the team. Plus, I like guys that get under the skin of their opponents.

I am right here. Sticking with my statement too. You have such a limited time frame of watching Cotton... Cotton is a pure pass first PG. He struggles creating his own offense but its too early based on 2 summer league games to say whether or not he deserves a spot.

Another Providence guy here. As much as I want to see Bryce make it, I don't think these two SL games have helped his cause. I find myself in agreement with this analysis:

"Bryce Cotton does what he does best -- he gets himself going. He's a great chance of pace guard who can find holes in the defense and has an asymmetric, skirmishing game that allows for himself to take advantage of it. He has a number of floaters and is far from gun shy. Just like last season we've seen him use dribble penetration to put himself in scoring position. In 49 minutes of action he has scored 19 points off of 19 shots. He shoots the ball once every 155 seconds on the court (one shot every 2.6 minutes). He's not just quick with the draw, but with his hands as well, averaging 1.5 spg so far in his 24.62 mpg. He's going an excellent 7 for 7 from the line, and supported that with 2 for 5 shooting from deep.

The bad side is that he doesn't, at all, seem to get other guys shots -- even when he tries to do just that after a scripted play out of a time out. He could just be a really short shooting guard, lots of people are like that -- NBA players among them like J.J. Barea. He has five assists and three turn overs, which is not ideal. His five assists looks even worse when you compare it directly to his 19 shots. But you can't fault him over and over (and over and over) again for not being a pass-first point guard. We get it. Let's move on. On to this shooting. He has gone 5 for 19 so far, that's .2632 FG%. This is a guy who is supposed to overtake Trey Burke, not recreate Trey Burke, right? Haven't seen it so far."

It's a "what have you done for me lately" world. I'm waiting for the Bryce Cotton who knows how to drain baskets at a good clip, and I haven't seen him. I mean it is only 2 SL games, but 2-11 is halfway to the infamous 4-22. If he's going to be on the floor a lot in Exum's absence, then he has to do better then that. He has a narrow window during which to make his case, and as the analysis in my previous post stated, I personally don't think he's made that case yet.
